Mercari Direct Markets

For over five years, Mercari has been providing dealer to dealer electronic Over-the-Counter (OTC) financial market service.

Supervised by an experienced team of OTC professionals markets are conducted using FEX’s proprietary OTC market-specific trading platform, Mercari. Mercari successfully operates in real time, in over 20 global banks using the Dealer Direct version of the platform.

Mercari has been uniquely designed to meet the specialist requirements of OTC markets and dealers. Through its innovative and flexible system, Mercari has proven itself to deliver fast, efficient, relevant and reliable OTC markets. The deployed trading versions of Mercari Direct has proved to many market participants that, given the functionality and anonymity provided byu Mercari, dealers can be their own best broker.

Each OTC market, irrespective of its general asset class, has its own trading profile and personality. Similarly, each OTC dealer has their own personal trading style that often varies depending on what they are trying to achieve. By definition, OTC markets are non standard market places. They can cover an unlimited number of tradable products with a broad range service needs. Each market has its own personality particularly new or developing markets where the human assistance can be invaluable in bringing parties together for trading.

In recognition of this, Mercari developed Mercari Brokered to allow individual brokers to expand their personal business capabilities over more customers and products.
