FEX Group Partners with Macquarie Group

Through its climate and environmental product development partner enVex, FEX will operate exchange-traded-contracts (ETC) and over-the-counter (OTC) climate and environmental market places.

Over time, climate and environmental tradable products will ultimately cover the expanding range of environmental markets, including greenhouse emissions, and renewable energy.

enVex is a joint venture of FEX and Macquarie Capital Group. It was established to develop climate and environmental product to be quoted on OTC and ETC market infrastructure.

enVex’s initial products will be OTC versions of:

• Australian Emissions Allowances (AEAs)
• Certified Emissions Reduction Units (CERs)
• Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
• NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Certificates (NGACs)
