FEX has partnered with The Clearing Corporation (TCC) to provide clearing and settlement services for FEX’s exchange traded markets. TCC is a Delaware, US registered corporation operating out of Chicago.
Formerly known as the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation, TCC was founded in 1925 and ranks as one of the world's oldest clearing platforms.
On 30 October 2008, the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) announced that it will acquire TCC. ICE itself is a leading operator of global regulated futures exchanges and over-the-counter (OTC) markets.
In selecting TCC as its partner, FEX sought to combine the integrity, risk management capabilities and financial market experience of TCC with the world renowned trading technologies provided to FEX by NasdaqOMX.
